Stock Your Freezer!

If someone offered you chicken for $1.49/lb, you'd probably think that was a pretty good deal, right?

What if it was boneless/skinless chicken breasts?

What if it was also "100 % natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients"?

What if it was also fresh from the farm, so fresh it had never been frozen?

What's the catch?

You have to order in advance (by 10/12 for a 10/21 pickup) and you have to order in 40 lb. quantities. Thing is, 40 lbs is really not that much when you're talking chicken. And those 40 lb. boxes are divided inside into 10 lb bags, so you can easily share a box with a friend or neighbor.

    I live on boneless chicken breasts, I have dozens of ways to fix them all different. Unfortunately my freezer just died. Thanks for the link to Zaycon though.

    You and me both Jan! We bought a used chest freezer this summer from a friend, and it's only about half full, so thankfully I have plenty room for this.
